GRAY, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from the decree of the district court for the Eastern district of Pennsylvania in the case of the master of the British ship Norwood against the British ships Waterloo and Glenalvon. The action was an action in rem, in a cause of collision, brought in the first instance against the British ship Waterloo alone, the master of which, by petition under the iU'ty-ninth admiralty rule of the supreme court, brought in the owners of the British ship Glenalvon as co-defendants.
