I. INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff Strategic Energy, LLC (“Strategic”), a retail electric supplier, has brought suit against Defendant Western Massachusetts Electric Co. (“WMECO”), a local electricity distribution company, based on an error in WMECO’s calculation of the electricity consumption of Strategic’s customers that led to Strategic being overcharged for that electricity on the wholesale market.
