The defendant, insured under a liability policy issued by Legion Insurance Company, moves for a further stay of this action to accommodate Legion’s rehabilitation proceedings in its home state of Pennsylvania. For the reasons that follow, the motion for stay is DENIED.

Background

On March 28, 2002 the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, at the request of that state’s Insurance Commissioner, granted the Commissioner’s petition to place Legion in rehabilitation, and appointed her as Rehabilitator. The order further states:
