(after stating the facts as above). The. first point urged by counsel for appellants in their ■brief, ■ is that the court should not have admitted evidence, concerning the transactions in and around the .Doming jail pertaining to the escape of the prisoners therefrom. It is urged that the transactions referred to were too remote; tbat the escape from the jail was completed the moment the prisoners were beyond the jail confines and out of the custody of the officers.
