MEMORANDUM DECISION
LOUISE DeCARL MALUGEN, Bankruptcy Judge.
This case involves the application of the California homestead exemption statute in a Chapter 11 case. The debtor applied for an order post-petition, authorizing the sale of debtor’s residence. The Court authorized the sale and ordered that any net proceeds received would be placed in a blocked account until further court order. After the funds were placed in the blocked account, the debtor’s former wife obtained a dissolution of their marriage.
