We are presented with the single issue of whether Alvin Pierce’s prior conviction for taking indecent liberties with a child, in violation of N.C. Gen.Stat. § 14-202.1, constitutes a predicate “crime of violence” for purposes of enhancing his sentence in the instant case as a “career offender” under the Sentencing Guidelines, U.S.S.G. § 4B1.1.
