State v. Lord
Court of Criminal Appeals of Tennessee
1Opinion of the Court
OPINION
TIPTON, Judge.
The defendant, Charles Jackson Lord, Jr., was convicted upon his pleas of guilty in the *314Fayette County Circuit Court of first degree murder and aggravated rape. He received sentences of life and twenty years in the custody of the Department of Correction, to be served consecutively. The defendant appeals as of right and states his grounds as follows:
1. The trial court abused its discretion by imposing a twenty (20) year consecutive sentence in count 2, aggravated rape.
2. The trial court erred in finding that no mitigating factors existed.
