Appellant’s only contention is that an in-court identification was tainted by a prior illegal one-on-one confrontation.

On January 19-22, 1973, the appellant was found guilty of aggravated assault and battery, assault with intent to murder, and two firearms violations. The charges arose out of an incident occurring during the afternoon of October 16, 1972. The victim, Joseph Leary, was standing outside his home when the appellant, who lived on the same street and was acquainted with Leary, accused him of striking his girl friend and taking some money from his brother.
