I. INTRODUCTION
This case 1 gives new meaning to the adage that no good deed goes unpunished. The suit was originally filed in April 1994 after plaintiff, Ali Z. Hameli, M.D., was dismissed from his position as the Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Delaware. Plaintiffs discharge followed allegations of sexual harassment made against him by two former employees of the Medical Examiner’s Office. In his complaint against defendants Carmen R.
