In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants Nicholas LiGreci and John T. LiGreci appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Richmond County (Maltese, J.), dated October 12, 2001, which granted the plaintiffs motion, in effect, pursuant to CPLR 5015 (a) (1) to vacate so much of an order of the same court dated July 30, 2001, as, upon her default, granted their motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against them.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.
