_JjThe defendant, Bradley Berry, was charged by bill of indictment with aggravated rape, in violation of La. R.S. 14:42, and indecent behavior with- a juvenile, in violation of La. R.S. 14:81. Following a jury trial, he was found guilty as charged. For the aggravated rape conviction, the trial court sentenced the defendant to serve life in prison at hard labor without the benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. He was sentenced to serve seven years at hard labor for his indecent behavior with a juvenile conviction. The sentences were ordered to run concurrently.…
