This is an unemployment compensation case.

The trial court awarded the plaintiff (Hawes) partial unemployment compensation benefits. The Department of Industrial Relations (the Department) appeals, asserting Hawes is disqualified from receipt of any unemployment compensation benefits. We agree with the Department and reverse the trial court.
