In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for breach of contract, the defendant Showcase Contracting Corp. appeals from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Orange County (Paño Z. Patsalos, J.), dated March 10, 2010, as, after a nonjury trial on the plaintiffs cause of action to recover damages for breach of contract and its fourth counterclaim to re*962cover in quantum meruit, is in favor of the plaintiff in and against it in the principal sum of $47,258.
