This proceeding is brought against the Comptroller of the State of New York for an order compelling the return of money paid over to him as abandoned property by the Treasurer of Nassau County.
On December 13, 1959, $460 was deposited in the office of the Nassau County Treasurer to the credit of Elizabeth Jane Cox, an infant, pursuant to an order of the Nassau County Court approving the compromise and settlement of a cause of action brought on behalf of the infant by her father, Paul E.
