MAJOR, Circuit Judge.

On December 18, 1953, an involuntary petition in bankruptcy was filed against appellants in the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. On January 19, 1954, the matter was transferred to proceedings for an Arrangement under Chapter XI of the Bankruptcy Act. The partnership was adjudicated a bankrupt on February 4, 1955, and on March 31, 1955, an order was entered adjudicating John J.
