Sklaroff v. Stevens

This petition for the adoption of James Michael Stevens, respondent’s infant son, was commenced in the juvenile court under the provisions of general laws 1-938, chapter 420, §1, as amended by public laws 1944, chap. 1441, sec. 36. Following a hearing in that court the peti tion was denied and dismissed. From a decree entered in accordance with that decision Samuel Sklaroff and his wife Anna appealed to the superior court, where a jury returned a verdict in their favor.
