KAPSNER, Justice.

[¶ 1] Raymond J. Geffre appeals from a judgment affirming an administrative decision upholding the Department of Health’s termination of his employment for cause. The Department cross-appeals from the district court’s denial of its motion to dismiss Geffre’s appeal and the court’s award to Geffre of $1,289.79 in attorney fees incurred for responding to the Department’s motion.
