The petitioner, who has been brought before us on a writ ofhabeas corpus, seeks to be liberated from the Providence County jail, where he is imprisoned on an execution against the American Steam Gas Pipe Company, a manufacturing corporation created by the General Assembly and established in the city of Providence.
