Dickson died intestate on the 18th of December, 1917, leaving an estate consisting of both real and personal property worth about $4,500. Maria Dickson May-field, alleging that she was the daughter and only heir at law of Henry Dickson,-obtained an ex parte order or judgment placing her in possession of the estate. She did not allege or prove that she was the legitimate daughter of the deceased, or tha-t she was legitimated or even that she was the acknowledged daughter of the deceased.
