BUSSEY, Judge.

James Wayne Busby, Jr., hereinafter referred to as defendant, was sentenced in the Court of Common Pleas of Oklahoma County for the offense of Direct Contempt of Court.

At the non-jury hearing, conducted by the Honorable Judge Ben LaFon, the evidence established that the defendant, after having entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Reckless Driving, was sentenced by the court to pay a fine of $60.00 and costs. The defendant requested that he be permitted to go across the street where his mother worked and get additional money with which to pay the fine, stating as he did so…
