Plaintiff, Aubrey M. Angelette, instituted this suit against the. defendant, Charles A: Hardie, which emanates from two separate and distinct causes of action — one in tort in which he claims $1,000 and the other— an action .to annul a sale of a lot of ground in Gretna, Louisiana, sold by his deceased maternal grandmother to her son, the defendant, for the price of $1,000.
