McCLOUD, Chief Justice.

This is a products liability case. Sonya Roling, a 13-year-old girl, was seriously injured while she was helping her father, Tony Roling, dig postholes with a power auger posthole digger distributed and marketed by Alamo Group (USA), Inc. Sonya’s mother, Sheri Roling, sued individually and as next friend of Sonya. 1 Alamo answered that Sonya and her mother were contribu-torily negligent.
