Plaintiff Sara Williams (“Williams”), a resident of Pennsylvania, originally brought suit against her insurance company, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (“State Farm”), in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. The matter was then removed, on October 19, 1990, by defendant State Farm, based upon the diversity jurisdiction of this court. 28 U.S.C. § 1332.
