Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court in favor of plaintiff against defendant Otis Elevator Company, entered January 29, 1985 in Albany County, upon a verdict rendered at Trial Term (Cobb, J.).

Plaintiff was injured when she tripped and fell as she was exiting an elevator in a building owned by defendant Stuyvesant Plaza, Inc. (Plaza). The alleged cause of the accident was the failure of the elevator to properly level at the floor when it came to a stop.
