| ¶ Defendant, Louisiana State University Health Science Center (“LSUHSC”), initially applied for supervisory writs with this Court, seeking to reverse the judgment of the trial court denying its exception of prescription with regard to the plaintiffs’ medical malpractice claim. This Court denied the writ application, finding that LSUHSC had an adequate remedy on appeal. LSUHSC then applied for a writ of certiorari with the Louisiana Supreme Court.
