On or about December 17, 1971, the petitioner, a Pennsylvania corporation, transmitted to the Secretary of State of the State of New York an application for authority to do business in New York State. The application was accompanied by an affidavit pursuant to section 302 of the Business Corporation Law which stated that American \Auto Accessories Stores, Inc., was incorporated in Pennsylvania on August 20, 1919, and it was dissolved on January 26, 1966 and immediately thereupon and before its assets were distributed in liquidation, it changed its corporate name to O. & C., Inc., and as a…
