*472In an action for a divorce and ancillary relief, the father appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Stack, J.), dated October 16, 2007, as, after a nonjury trial, awarded the mother custody of the parties’ child, with visitation to him, and maintenance in the sum of $3,500 per month for five years.

Ordered that the judgment is modified, on the law and in the exercise of discretion, (1) by deleting the provision thereof awarding the mother custody of the parties’ child with visitation to the father, and substituting therefor a provision…
