ORDER
SAFFELS, District Judge.
This matter is before the court on a petition for writ of habeas corpus, 28 U.S.C. § 2254, filed by a prisoner in the custody of the State of Kansas. Petitioner proceeds pro se and in forma pauperis in this action.
Petitioner was charged and convicted of one count of aggravated kidnaping, two counts of rape, and six counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, based upon a series of sexual assaults against one victim on March 5, 1987.
