Claiming that the hereinafter mentioned transaction created a debt against the estate of J. R. Rnssell, deceased, appellants and plaintiffs below, Rebecca Dickerson, William Johnson and William Butler, all colored, brought this action in the Oldham circuit court against appellee and defendant below, R. H. Snyder, Russell’s personal representative, to recover the amount of three checks issued by the deceased on January 23, 1922, on the bank of Prospect, Kentucky, with which deceased theretofore had an account on' deposit.
