Defendant Larshun Wilkins appeals the judgment entered upon his conviction for robbery in the first degree. Among his claims of error, the defendant claims the trial court: (1) erred in denying a mistrial after the prosecutor stated during opening statement that the codefendant Ronnie Pope pleaded guilty to the robbery, and (2) plainly erred in convicting the defendant given that the prosecutor produced evidence of the codefendant’s plea of guilty as substantive evidence of the defendant’s guilt.
