Dorothy Marie Perkins was severely injured when the automobile in which she was riding as a guest passenger and driven by Edward Parker McGehee ran into the rear of a tractor trailer truck owned and operated by Akers Motor Lines, Incorporated, which had come to a stop on the pavement. To recover damages for her injuries Miss Perkins filed an action at law against both Akers Motor Lines, Incorporated, and McGehee.
