Langmaid, filed a complaint on October 20, 1993, alleging in a single count that the defendant, Bushwick Iron Steel Co., Inc., discharged him in retaliation for his claim for workers' compensation benefits following a job related injury. The plaintiff further alleges that his discharge, and the defendant's subsequent refusal to rehire him, were a violation of General Statutes § 31-290a.
