This is an appeal pursuant to General Statutes § 31-249b from the denial of federal trade readjustment allowances by the defendant, the Administrator of the Unemployment Compensation Act.
The Trade Act of 1974; 19 U.S.C. $ 2101 et seq.; provides federally funded benefits, which are in addition to state unemployment compensation, to workers who are permanently or temporarily laid off because of foreign competition.
