Appellant, Cherance Monelle, was charged with five counts of child abuse, three counts of aggravated rape in the first degree, two counts of domestic violence, and one count of unlawful sexual contact in the first degree. After a jury trial, he was found guilty of aggravated rape in the first degree charged as an act of domestic violence and child abuse.
