BLODGETT, District Judge.

This is a bill In equity for an alleged infringement of letters patent of the United States issued to Henry A. Adams,' dated October 15th, 1872, for an “improvement in corn-shellers,” and prays an account of damages, and injunction.

The complainant’s improvement consists in the arrangement of a winged shaft, or “beat-sr-shaft,” so geared as to revolve rapidly in the throat of the corn-sheller, for the purpose of driving the ears of corn into the machine.
