—In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the plaintiffs appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (DeMaro, J.), dated April *30221, 1999, which, upon the granting of the defendant’s application pursuant to CPLR 4401 for judgment as a matter of law, made at the close of the plaintiffs’ case, is in favor of the defendant and against them, and dismissed the complaint.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed, with costs.
