This is a motion for a peremptory writ of mandamus, directed to the board of elections of Putnam county, requiring *179said board to disregard certain provisions of the Election Law (Con-sol. Laws 1909, c. 17), and the laws known as chapters 649 and 891 of the Laws of 1911, amending sections 122 and 123 of the Election Law, relating to the number and qualifications of the signers of independent nominating certificates, upon the ground that such provisions are unconstitutional and void.
