—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Lefkowitz, J.), rendered August 25, 1994, convicting him of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The defendant was properly convicted of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree. There was ample evidence establishing—and no evidence to the contrary—that the defendant’s gun was in his girlfriend’s car just prior to the arrival of police and that he then secreted it in his house immediately after the police…
