After entering a conditional plea of guilty, and reserving the right to appeal an earlier order rejecting his motion to suppress a .38 caliber handgun seized incident to his arrest, see Fed.R.Crim.P. 11(a)(2), defendant John R. Doward was convicted and sentenced in the District of New Hampshire on a one-count indictment charging possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, see 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1), 924(e)(1).
