In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the *637plaintiff appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Solomon, J.), dated March 2, 2005, and the defendant Joro Carting, Inc., cross-appeals, as limited by its brief, from so much of the same order as denied its motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against it.

Ordered that the appeal from the order is dismissed as abandoned (see 22 NYCRR 670.8 [e] [1]); and it is further,

Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as cross-appealed from, the motion is granted, the complaint is dismissed…
