This appeal comes to us following the dismissal of appellants’ first amended petition alleging medical malpractice and seeking damages against the Curators of the University of Missouri (respondent Curators), among others, for Travis Brennan’s premature birth. It is alleged that Travis’ premature birth has resulted in substantial and permanent damage to his health.
