Counsel have not pointed the court to any mandatory requirement of statute or otherwise with reference to the manner in which bonds issued by an Iowa city shall be signed. Jn the absence of such mandatory requirement, it would seem that the bonds of a city might be signed by any of the officers of the city whom the city council, as the governing board of the city, should designate therefor.
