Following a jury trial, defendant Leslie Williams was found guilty of murder and armed robbery. He was sentenced to a term of 40 years for murder and seven years for armed robbery, the sentences to run concurrently. Codefendant Robert Weatherly was tried simultaneously in a bench trial and found not guilty.
