Horace Manuel obtained a life insurance policy from- the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of New York for $3,000, the annual premium on which was $74.37. Pie then obtained from the same company further insurance evidenced by what the parties call a supplemental contract or rider, whereby, in consideration of an additional premium of $5.52, the company agreed to pay him a monthly annuity of $10 for each $1,000 of insurance under the main policy and waive the annual premium thereon, if, as a result of injury or disease occurring and originating after the issuance of the policy, insured…
