Iona Y. Peters, a married woman, by her next friend, sued the petitioner in the Civil Court of Record for Dade County, Florida, and obtained a judgment against the petitioner in the sum of approximately $2,000.00. In the course of the proceedings the declaration was amended so as to add Laura F. Stieren, by her next friend, as a party plaintiff. After judgment had been rendered in favor of the plaintiffs the petitioner sued out a writ of error to the Circuit Court in and for Dade County, which court affirmed the judgment of the Civil Court of Record.
