OPINION

PICKARD, Judge.

{1} Petitioner appeals from the district court’s order granting summary judgment in favor of Respondent, Petitioner’s alleged natural father. Below, the district court concluded that Petitioner’s suit to establish paternity and to recover retroactive child support was barred by the doctrines of res judicata and collateral estoppel based on a previous suit filed by Petitioner’s mother.
