The primary election for the second election district of the town of Arcade, Wyoming county, was held on the 28th day of September, 1915. The respondent, John A. Lewis, had been duly designated as a candidate for Democratic county committeeman for the district, and his name was printed on the official primary ballot. Immediately below his name was a blank space. The whole number of votes cast was thirty-eight, of which seventeen were counted and canvassed for “ E. D. Sherman,” two for “ D.
