This appeal involves a dispute regarding the compensation to be paid to the co-executors of the estate of Solomon A. Acy. In the proceedings below, the co-executors, Alvin D. Miller and Donald Ray Featherston, each sought compensation in the amount of two and one-half percent of the value of the gross estate. The residuary legatee of the estate, The Louisiana Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation (“the Foundation”), intervened at the trial level to contest the petition of Miller and Featherston seeking the increased compensation.
