Writ granted in part. Defendant was found guilty of manslaughter in response to a charge of second degree murder. The district court sentenced him to serve 25 years imprisonment at hard labor. The district court ordered that the first 20 years of the sentence be served without parole eligibility pursuant to La.C.Cr.P. art. 893.3(E). The State did not object to or seek review of the sentence. The court of appeal, however, found as an error patent that the sentence was illegally lenient because it did not restrict parole eligibility for the entire 25-year term of imprisonment.
