This is a proceeding by mandamus to compel the police jury to repeal or rescind a resolution dispensing with the services of a draftsman in the office of the engineer of the Macon Ridge highway district, and dispensing with the services of an inspector of the highway. It is said in the briefs filed on behalf of the plaintiff, appellant, that the draftsman and the engineer, whom the police jury discharged, had been employed by the plaintiff, supervising board.
